A modestly successful conceptual artist skilled in numerous mediums, I enjoy spending time creating illustrations with hobby kits and figures and imagining them as key frames for a movie I’d like to see…I began by building and painting models and miniatures at 1:72 scale intending to make some dioramas, and have since been working at 135th using Photoshop and AI only to help me create my locations, and to weather my AFV. The kits and figures you see here are photographic compositions and are not touched up. 12 February 1941: Brigadier general Erwin Rommel arrives in Tripoli in command of the newly formed Deutsche Afrika Korps and, like Napoleon, highly valued a strategic use of mobile guns. His Panzerscharfschütze were Luftwaffe crews skilled at shooting down planes, and proved highly successful at hitting ground targets from great distances.
		14 February 1943: Kasserine, Tunisia. Elements of Generalmajor ' von Broich's 10th Panzer Division overran a squad of American troops by surprise, quickly knocking out six tanks. When more American tanks advanced, the crack Panzer crews destroyed six more and captured their crews.
		April 1941: Rommel is reinforced with the 15th Panzer Division and below I imagine a unit attached to an infantry battalion seeing some action during Rommel's first attempt to seize the vital port of Tobruk...
		February 1941: Among the first of Rommel's forces deployed were units of the 5th Lt. Panzer Division. Primarily tasked with reconnaissance missions, it was comprised primarily of motorcycles, armored cars and light tanks, and was soon rolled into the 21st Panzer's.
